Membership of the association is limited to uniformed concierges serving in hotels of an acceptable standard. 

5 years of experience are required, the last 2 years you must have worked as a concierge. You must be sponsored by two active Members of the Swiss Section.

Local sections might accept applicants with less experience.

With the membership you get access to a network of concierges in Switzerland, Europe and all over the world. You can benefit from experts all over the world who are willed to help you and your guests.

The main task of the Concierge is to look after the hotel guests, fulfilling their
requests and answering their inquiries, giving them information about the city and
country, making hotel bookings, car rentals, restaurant and airline reservations.
The concierge is in contact whit the guest prior, during and after the stay.
